Prof. Anil Sood is a senior member of the faculty of Finance at the Administrative Staff College of India, Hyderabad. His academic work at ASCI has included training and consulting assignments in the areas of Corporate & Business Finance and Strategy with various major companies including ABB, Coca Cola India, General Electric India, IBM India, Motorola India, Xerox India etc. He has also run a range of training programmes on managing growth and risk management for the banking and financial member of the faculty of Finance at the Administrative Staff College of India, Hyderabad. His academic work at ASCI has included training and consulting assignments in the areas of Corporate & Business Finance and Strategy with various major companies including ABB, Coca Cola India, General Electric India, IBM India, Motorola India, Xerox India etc. He has also run a range of training programmes on managing growth and risk management for the banking and financial services industry.
Prof. Sood was a honorary member of the Study Committee on Financing the Global Energy Sector - The Task Ahead, World Energy Council, London, UK during 1996-97 and has subsequently worked with them on Pricing of Energy in Developing Countries.
In addition to his normal academic responsibility, he manages the Distance Learning MBA Programmes at ASCI, being offered in collaboration with the Manchester Business School, UK.
Prof Sood’s industry experience includes management accounts, business development and financial accounting assignments with Smithkline Beecham, New Delhi and business head responsibilities with Scientific Engineering Private Limited, Hyderabad, India
