Avinash Narula holds a B. Com degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi, an MBA degree in Marketing and Finance from the University of Illinois, U.S. and a B.S. in Hotel and Restaurant Management from Conrad N. Hilton College, University of Houston, U.S. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Mr. Narula has gathered over 25 years of professional experience as an entrepreneur and as business executive in reputed companies in India and the U.S., during which he handled numerous assignments related to marketing, finance, cost accounting, budgeting, and strategic planning. He was a member of the start-up entrepreneurial team of an electronic company in the U.S. He has also provided consulting services to various companies both in India and abroad.

While pursuing his academic interests in the U.S., he was selected to teach a prestigous management course at the University of Illinois, Champaign, USA. After returning to India, he has taught a variety of courses on marketing, strategy, management, accounting, and finance at various business schools in Delhi.

Avinash Narula is a prolific writer. He has written 4 books as follows:

  • 80/20 rule of communication your ideas effectively (Effective writing and presentation)
  • Implementing Advertising Strategy (Advertising, Design and printing)

Avinash Narula has also developed a number of interesting Indian management case studies. Currently, he is in the process of writing two books, one on customer retention and another on CRM. Mr. Narula has received the First Prize for the best paper on mergers and acquisitions from Association of Corporate Growth, Chicago, U.S. He was also a recipient of various scholarships during his studies abroad and has published articles on marketing and the hospitality industry.At present, he is heading an integrated INS accredited advertising agency and a management training company.

Avinash Narula is very passionate about the subject of customer satisfaction and retention. He aims to continuously develop customer mathematics and economics to convert everyone in the business world into a BELIEVER in the concept of “Customer is King.”
